We’re a committee of individuals and professionals dedicated to our island community. The Chebeague Island School Committee is responsible for the education of students from pre-kindergarten through high school.

​School Committee Meetings

All community members are welcome to attend School Committee meetings. The committee usually meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month (less often in the summer), times and meeting schedule will be posted here. In addition to regular bi-monthly meetings, the School Committee sometimes schedules additional meetings and workshops to address particular topics.
